Hot stones massage is a unique therapy which involves placing water heated basalt stones on key points on the body, whilst oil covered stones are used in various techniques to massage the muscle tissues.

 

The deep penetrating heat from the stones increases the relaxation response within the nervous system and has a greater stimulating effect on the circulation than with regular massage.
